There is a change in approach in teaching and training in pain, firstly engaging a holistic approach and an integrated professional approach which makes sense as pain is so complex. Kings College London is leading in this field by training nurses, doctors, dentists, physios, occupational therapists and pharmacists as integrated student groups https://www.kcl.ac.uk/health/study/facilities/chantler/teaching/clinicalcom/pain

This has led to development of integrated care pathways for neuropathic and other chronic pain https://www.guidelinesinpractice.co.uk/pain/integrated-care-pathway-for-neuropathic-pain-will-help-facilitate-patient-care/300231.article

We are in the process of setting up a new OFP Masters programme – watch this space!
