Refractory Orofacial Pain or Patient

£20.00

Refractory orofacial pain essentially means persistent orofacial pain that has been treated using most of the medical, psychological and surgical (if indicated) methods. There may be many reasons as to why the pain persists, incorrect diagnosis, patient factors, psychological factors, medical factors and of course the pain condition itself. This presentation explores these different aspects to resistance to treatment and provides a strategy to identify and manage these factors in order to improve patient care.
